Hosting
We have used several hosts over the years but have happily settled with the one we now prefer and are happy to recommend - HostGator. We have had no downtime or problems on any of the 24 domains we currently host there. All being well we will eventually move all our domains there.
CSS Templates
I accidentally came across Andreas Viklund's website and was really impressed with his CSS templates for websites and WordPress blogs. I wanted to use the artwork used on the shop murals and this template was perfect for php coding which I chose to use throughout this website. You can find his website here.
Software & Tips
We have used Will Bontrager's software for many years and are really happy to recommend him. The contact forms on all our websites are driven by one installation of Master Form V4 and Master Secret Hidden Fields Pro and the newsletter is controlled by B-Mailer(tm). There is one piece of software that I could never be without (in fact this whole website was built with it) and that is EditPad Pro by Jan Goyvaerts. EditPad Pro is a very powerful and versatile text editor that alongside AceText (a clip manager) , PowerGREP (search and replace tool) and RegexBuddy (makes the use of regular expressions much easier) make a perfect toolkit for any web developer.
